In March 2024 I made a long-planned visit to my beloved East Lothian. I timed it to catch a spring tide, in order to get some shots that are only possible at very high tides. Due to the moon’s proximity and a storm surge, I experienced tides over a metre higher than I intended. That plus almost continuous light rain and high winds made things tricky but at least ‘different’!
