The river’s health continues to be a great concern. I have been documenting the continued environmental impacts as well as the slow spread of diseases threatening the iconic riverside and wetland trees of the area. Recent warmer winters have only served to accelerate the spread and persistence of tree pathogens. Water quality monitoring shows a worsening situation.
