Autumn leaves have always fascinated me. In particular I find the leaves of the Cotinus bush (Cotinus Coggygyria or ‘Smokebush’) amazing in their range of colours. Other trees of interest include apple, poplar, maple, sweet gum and oak. Over several years I have been playing at making studio images of individual leaves and groups. It’s very different from my relatively purist outdoor landscape work.
