Iceland Highlands
Images from a week spent in the Southern Icelandic Highlands in summer 2024. It was a simply spellbinding experience, travelling along rough roads on volcanic ash and pumice, weaving a route cross barren lava-fields and windswept lunar landscapes. There are mountains, fast-flowing rivers, volcanic crater lakes, amazing colours, textures and forms, waterfalls, canyons. Not forgetting volcanic ash storms!
